The story
Built to be the market. Kept to gather.
The brick was laid in the late 1800s, when the square was where Ozark came to trade, talk, and linger. A careful restoration from 2012 to 2014 kept everything that mattered — the exposed brick, the high ceilings, the sense that something has always been happening in this room — and tucked the modern comforts quietly behind it.
Longtime locals remember it as the old mercantile on the square. The trade counters have gone quiet; the gathering never did. Today the room downstairs is set for your occasion, and the lofts upstairs are turned down for whoever stays late.
